Guilty Pleasures

The idea for Guilty Pleasures came when he was a member of "Springfox Too". The plan was simple: rather than try to compete with all of the hundreds of male singers on the circuit, many of whom default to the same styles of music as demanded by clubland, Guy decided firstly to play guitar for around half of his set. He then decided to make the repertoire as wide as possible, but to only play songs that he would enjoy performing. Thirdly - and probably the single thing that venues comment on most of all - is to choose songs that people will know, but may not hear very often.
This decision has worked wonders. His Guilty Pleasures shows sometimes turn into pop quizzes, with people trying to guess who sang what!
The show isn't just "thrown together" though. His previous experience as an in-demanding (and award winning) DJ gave him an invaluable grounding in to how to compile, sequence and produce a show full of music that the audience will love. And as the list of songs in the Guilty Pleasures database is so vast, no two shows will be exactly the same!
