It's a bit like pressing the random button on my life's music player - only to discover that it's your life's music player too! The Guilty Pleasures show will give you a heady mix of rock, pop, soul and reggae. You will get Beatles and John Holt. You will get Maroon 5 and T Rex. George Ezra and Elvis. It's a different show every performance, so you can book with confidence time and time again! Warning: this has been known to bring on impromptu Pop Quizzes at the bar!

As with the other shows in my portfolio, Mr Swing is not by any stretch of the imagination an original idea - but I always try and put a spin on it where I can.

A show called "Mr Swing" will inevitably feature many of the classics from the swing-era, and will have to include songs popularised by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and others of that era. Add to that, many of the classic songs that have been arranged into the swing style for Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jnr, Rod Stewart and many others.

What I have done to try and differentiate my show from others is to also add a touch of jazz in the style of Jamie Cullum, Gregory Porter - as well as a few surprises.

I wouldn't go as far as to call this a full-on tribute show (mainly as I don't try to impersonate the individual singers - forgive me for saying "I do it My Way"!) but it is a show packed full of brilliant tunes, evoking the whole swing / jazz / Capitol era.

As a new show, there are no proper video clips available as yet, but during the 2020 lockdown I did a show "live from my living room" featuring many of the songs that ended up in this show.
